Step beyond the camping site and the expanse of nature is literally at your fingertips. A motley crew of birds, wild horses and Highland cattle populate this unique district. The history of the Den Hoorn region is revealed in all kinds of ways. You need only look at the characteristic village cottages, war bunkers, or the light of a pilot ferry falling on the church of Den Hoorn, which still serves as a beacon for passing vessels.
